This world leading commercial group is looking for an Internal Audit team leader to join their International Internal Audit division in Brussels, Belgium.
As part of their continued expansion of their multicultural team they are looking for an experienced individual to manage and lead their audit teams of between 3- 6 people on a variety of financial and operational assignments across their diverse operations.
The majority of your role will dedicated to overseeing and data and assessing the level of compliance with applicable procedures, adequacy of controls, efficiency and effectiveness of operations and accuracy of reported information. You will be in charge of entrance and exit meetings as well as of having full responsibility for more than one audit assignments.
As a senior level individual you will make recommendations to senior managers after evaluating key business risks as well as helping implement improvements following operational reviews as well as undertaking a variety of special projects such as special investigations, acquisitions, and re-engineering assignments.
Successful applicants are likely to have experience of around 5-8 years gained in external or internal audit for a practice firm or a large multinational group.
Candidates may also be coming from a large industrial company having undertaken a controller role or equivalent.
A good general understanding of the manufacturing business would be most welcome.
Fluent English is essential, other languages would be welcome.
You should be flexible to undertake international travel and to relocate to another country as you are likely to be promoted after 2-3 years of working in the audit team.
