MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• LLB or equivalent, together with admission to general practice before the highest court of the state or county of which the candidate is a citizen.
• Six years of diversified practice with a law firm or in the Law Department of a business firm or organization.
• Reading knowledge of Arabic is desirable but not necessary.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists General Counsel, Associate general Counsel and General Attorneys in marshalling and examining the law and facts pertinent to legal problems, in preparing legal documents and opinions, and in maintaining liaison with Management and Aramco's operating organizations.
• Prepares for approval by supervisor issues opinions and advice to management with respect to corporate rights and obligations, contracts and agreements, and statutory or similar requirements.
• Reviews and advises General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, General Attorneys and Management of current legislation, treaties and governmental regulations' pertinent to the Company's operations. Assists in preparing for trials, hearings, appeals and arguments, in the preparation of briefs, in the interrogation of witnesses, and in the collection and evaluation of evidence in proceedings before courts and quasi-judicial or investigatory bodies.
• Assists in maintaining liaison with outside counsel and in the preparation of statements of law and fact for their consideration.
• Participates in activities of professional and technical legal societies.
