This leading international energy group with a significant worldwide presence across Central Asia is looking for a skilled individual to join their team as an Internal Audit Director.
Working closely with the group head of Internal Audit your role will pivotal in helping develop and expand an audit team for this group in Kazakhstan.
Working in this strategically significant role you will be heavily involved in audit planning, site visits, meetings with senior managers across the different plants to ensure adherence to business processes and risk mitigation.
You will also be involved in appraising the group’s activities and delivering a risk based audit plan – you will have a focus on undertaking operational reviews, business process audits.
You will also evaluate operational procedures, internal controls, and develop conclusions about the effectiveness of assignments related to these extensive operations across the country.
On top of this you will perform special audit projects and presentations as and when required.
In order to apply for this position it is essential that candidates have around 10 years of relevant experience gained either in internal audit within an industrial group or from within a consulting firm (big 4 or equivalent internal audit).
Candidates must excellent leadership and communication skills as well as have strong financial and commercial skills gained in an international environment.
Fluent English and Russian are essential.
