Internal Auditor – Oil & Gas – Brussels
Exclusive to Huntress: Internal Auditor required urgently due to internal promotion. My client is a pre-eminent Middle-Eastern Oil & Gas works firm, with its administrative base in the heart of Europe. Projects are high profile with expectation for this recruit to deliver at various levels.
Responsibilities include:
- Execution of internal Audits, including planning the audit, executing the audit steps that allow an assessment of the effectiveness of the controls
- Providing recommendations to management on improvements to the controls or operational practices, and written reports of audit results to be distributed to upper management.
- Development of audit tools
- Assistance with the execution of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act 302 and 304 requirements
The successful candidate will be degree educated (Finance/Economics) and possess 3-5 years of experience in public accounting and/or internal audit experience in a large corporate environment. Fluent English is a must and excellent French language skills are desired. You will be a team player who is looking for a chance to step into a multinational corporation and move into an operational role in the next 2-3 years. This role will involve approx. 30-50% international travel. The successful candidate will come from an Internal Audit role, with in excess of 3 years experience.
