Our client is a multinational business and seeks and IT security manager. The Security Manager rrole is to provide IT security competency to Group Information Services for all application and infrastructure systems.
Create, maintain and develop Group IT security policy and practices
Ensure compliance to policy within Group and manage audit control deficiencies and develop programs to address common areas requiring remediation
Security scope includes physical security of Data Centres, Application Security, Access Control, Operations, Security Architecture, Business Continuity Planning and Network Security
Liaise with GIS IT Services, Application Development and Group IT Directors to develop best practice and maintain security systems
Manage security assessments, penetration testing and compliance programs. Participate in Architectural and Operations reviews advising on security implications
Experience of Security Management tools, technologies and techniques gained from a large multi national organisation
Experience of managing compliance and security programs for applications and technical infrastructure.
Up to date technical knowledge of the latest security threats and mitigating technologies
7 years post qualification experience with an outstanding record of success.
