I am currently recruiting a Senior Internal Auditor to join a high profile audit team within an ever-expanding FTSE 250 infrastructure, building and business services organisation. With a turnover of almost £5 billion in 2006 my client is one of the most successful and reputable organisations within its industry.
The purpose of this role is to deliver an agreed programme of risk-based audits on key business processes and projects. A contribution to the improvement of risk management, control and governance processes. This role is subject to managerial direction therefore the ideal candidate will be subject to broad processes and procedures and possess some specialised knowledge and skills gained through on the job training.
Requirements:·
Over 5 years experience as an internal auditor·
Proven ability to use a risk-based audit methodology·
Demonstrable understanding of business strategies, processes, risks and controls.·
ACA/CIMA/IIA Qualified (or equivalent)·
Experience of auditing clients within the construction, engineering or mining sectors.
