Corporate Auditor (Latin America and Canada Region)

Our client an International Corporation is seeking for their operations in Latin America and Canada Region a Corporate Auditor for their Corporate audit Department (CAD). The Corporate Auditor reports to an Audit Manager. Corporate Auditors will be based in Mexico City and required to travel up to 45% within Latin America.

The Corporate Audit Department (CAD) provides senior management and the Audit Committee with objective assessments of the adequacy and effectiveness of the financial/operational systems and controls in place across the corporate global operations.
Education, Experience, and Skills
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• 5 + years of relevant work experience in internal or external audit.
• US GAAP knowledge or audit/finance experience is a must.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to grasp complex business processes.
• End-user experience of SAP R/3 modules (particularly FI/CO/MM/SD/PS) an advantage.
• Ability to work well individually and in teams, share information, support colleagues and encourage participation.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken). Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to effectively present substantive audit findings to management. Fluency in Portuguese as an additional language is a plus.
• Integrity, honesty, respect for others, pursuer of excellence and innovation.
• Enthusiasm, self-motivation and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to respond and adapt quickly to changing work situations and environments.
• Excellent time management, organization and project management skills.
• Willingness and desire to travel (up to 45%) throughout the Latin America Region.
Tasks & Responsibilities

• Identifying and assessing financial, operational, information systems and compliance risks, in all areas of the businesses.
• Use analytical, technical and project management skills to assess and test the effectiveness of the company’s control environment.
• Communicate the results of your work to local and regional management.
