Austin Andrew are currently recruiting for an Internal Audit Senior Manager to join one of the UK’s leading companies. Reporting into the VP of Internal Audit, you will incorporate Global Head Office, regional and functional responsibilities, focussing on those areas of business risk and opportunity
You will support the VP Internal Audit in the management and development of the Group Audit Function, ensuring a professional and value adding service is provided to the Board, Audit Committee and Senior Management. The role includes promoting the profile of Internal Audit through the sharing of best practice and working closely with Senior Managers from Global, Regional and Country management teams.
Other responsibilities include assisting the VP with long term strategic plan for Internal Audit in conjunction with Senior management and the Internal Audit outsource providers. Also produce the annual “Area” and “Functional” audit plan focusing on key business risks; cyclical coverage of key controls; selected compliance audits, self assessments and follow up audits.
The ideal candidate will have a very strong academic background, an accountancy qualification as well as strong internal audit experience. You must be prepared to travel internationally -40% and have the ambition to be a future key member of the finance function.
