The expanding number of vessels in the Qatargas fleet has given rise to further need of shipping personnel within the organization. The industry leading Q-Max and Q-Flex tankers are at the cutting edge of tanker technology and we are seeking motivated and capable personnel to join our existing shipping team. At present we have the following position:
Technical Superintendents (TS)
Provides technical ship operational expertise regarding Time Charter Party administration. Supports the technical ship operational aspects of the Sale & Purchase Agreement for LNG, Condensate & Sulphur and monitors the existing Time Charter Parties with regard to safety & performance. Provides technical expertise in order to ensure the safe and efficient shipments of LNG and other products via the Qatargas Terminals in Ras Laffan Port and ensures Dry-docking of vessels is accomplished in a timely and economical manner.
Marine related Degree or Engineering Certificate of Competency with appropriate experience. 6 years experience of shipping operations within an integrated Shipping/Oil/Gas Company. Ideally should have sailed as Chief Engineer.
