The expanding number of vessels in the Qatargas fleet has given rise to further need of shipping personnel within the organization. The industry leading Q-Max and Q-Flex tankers are at the cutting edge of tanker technology and we are seeking motivated and capable personnel to join our existing shipping team. At present we have the following position:
Marine Superintendents (MS)
Provides marine expertise to ensure the safety of all Qatar Gas Marine assets and ensures safe, reliable and efficient operations of shipments of all products via the Qatargas Terminals in Ras Laffan Port. Plans, coordinates and executes ship and terminal compatibility studies and ship inspections, provides marine expertise regarding Time Charter Party administration and marine terminal operations.Administers the marine aspects of the Sale & Purchase Agreements for LNG, Condensate & Sulphur and monitors the performance of the ships Time Charter with regard to safety & performance. Master Mariners Certificate of Competency 8 years seagoing experience (including 5 years sea time for MMC) in tankers/gas carriers, including on shore marine experience within gas/oil marine terminals. Should have had command of a modern tanker/gas carrier.
