Austin Andrew are currently recruiting for an Internal Auditor for a commercially minded Financial Auditor to join a leading company within the Construction and property investment sector.
The role will be UK based, and you will be required to carry out risk and business review throughout the group.
You will be reporting into the Head of Internal Audit, and the main responsibility will be to work with the various businesses to assess business risk and controls. You will also be required to build relationships with local Finance Directors and Managing Directors to understand what drives their businesses. You must also carry out financial and operational audits across the group, and consult on business solutions and best practice.
You must also complete ad-hoc investigations and projects and would be required to travel nationally (35%)
The ideal candidate will be technically strong and a qualified accountant, with sound commercial approach. The ideal candidate must also have auditing experience gained either within practice or commerce.
