This is one of the worlds leading manufacturing clients and is specifically looking for Cantonese and Mandarin speaking candidates, who are keen to travle 75% of the time globally.
The Auditors key role is to assist Team Leaders on the delivery of assignments included in the annual plan.
The annual plan allocates Team Leaders and Auditors to specific assignments, however this can change as the plans themselves change due to changing priorities (of the organisation and the Internal Audit function), availability, experience and preferences of individual auditors.
In broad terms two teams operate under the two Team Leaders throughout the year but the Auditors allocated to each team are changed around to provide variety and to align skills (technical and language) and experience to specific assignments where necessary.
Each team will expect to complete one assignment each month. Typically the fieldwork is completed in the middle 2 weeks and the first and last week are taken up in planning and reporting.
Auditors will be expected to complete sections of the assignment as allocated to them by the Team Leaders (again with some flexibility to take account of development needs and experience). This generally consists of a full understanding of the processes under review and evaluation of risks and controls, control testing and reporting of exceptions with appropriate recommendations. The function operates the TeamMate Auditing software primarily for electronic work papers. Increasingly the function is making use of CAATs within the scope of its reviews. Appropriate training in both TeamMate and the CAATs used will be provided.
