You will be working for a well-established public sector organisation known for being a reputable employer in the local area. You will be situated in Nottingham City Centre among the vibrant city atmosphere, where excellent transport links are also a plenty. Due to an internal restructure, the opportunity to join the organisation as a Senior Auditor has arisen.
Your new role
As a Senior Auditor you will be working as part of a team assisting the Head of Internal Audit in providing a cohesive audit service. The role will include but is not limited to:
- Conduct audit assignments with minimal supervision
- Reviews of procedures and policies, reporting to relevant parties
- Risk based reviews
- Procurement Audits
- Contract Audits
- Special investigations
- Ensure legal processes are observed and are in accordance with financial regulations.
- Participate in cross service projects, whilst also building relationships across multiple teams.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must have a relevant accountancy or audit qualification, and 2 years previous experience of carrying out audit reviews. You must have the ability to undertake research and have knowledge of internal audit principles.
