Senior Auditor | Insurance Brokerage
The top-tier global insurance broker works across brokerage services, re-insurance brokerage, risk management services, human resource solutions and outsourcing services. Operating globally across all major geographical locations, the firm prides itself on its wide range of services and high levels of service it offers its partners and customers.
A Senior Internal Auditor is required in order to assist Audit Managers and Senior Managers in the development of the audit plan and fieldwork required to undertake the annual audit plan. The Senior Internal Auditor will be required to test the internal controls in place in order to manage and mitigate risk across the business. After undertaking the testing, you will then be required to report the findings back to the stakeholders involved, ensuring your recommendations are followed through in order to make real and meaningful changes to the business. You will be required to travel 40-60% of your time due to the global nature of the business.
In order to be successful in this role, you will ideally be from an external audit accountancy practice covering Insurance or Asset Management clients. You will need to hold an accountancy qualification ie. ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc. or an equivalent European master's degree in a relevant subject.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role will pay up to £60,000 as a base. In addition, there is available study support for additional qualifications along with a bonus and benefits structure. In addition to this, there will be the opportunity to gain increasing involvement in the start-up of an Asset Management audit function.
