This Internal Audit Manager job is with a globally recognisable bank based in Birmingham city centre. With over £46 billion turnover and almost £2 billion in total assets, this prestigious bank is the perfect next step in your Internal Audit career.
Your new role
You will specifically look at the Payment Operations Technology side of the business. From a retail perspective, this will include high volume transactions, such as standing orders. From a corporate perspective, this will include BACS and CHAPS, which tend to be high volume and of large collective value. There will also be high value Bank-to-Bank transfers. You will be required to lead audits from the front, ensuring that high risk areas are identified and appropriately addressed.
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a relevant qualification (e.g. ACA/ACCA/CISA/IIA), have a relevant Financial Services background, have a strong grounding in Internal Audit and preferably have experience in IT Audit or Risk. Previous experience in a Big 4/Top 10 practice firm is desirable but not essential.
