Our client a leading Financial Services company listed as a Financial Times Top 100 Company to work for in 2016. Following significant company expansion and growth the Audit function is looking to recruit 2 Internal Auditors to join it dynamic, customer focused Internal Audit function.
The successful individual will responsible for:
Delivering to the required quality and deadline on all elements of the Audit cycle, including planning, testing, reporting, delivery and follow up on a range of risk-based assignments of varying size and complexity.
Proactively identify areas where risk is outside of the business’ ‘appetite’ levels and make value adding recommendations to Management to address weaknesses.
Accurately and effectively ascertaining the reliability of information systems examined (input, processing and output) and ensure that all systems examined comply with relevant regulations, accounting principles, appropriate financial controls, and established company policies and procedures.

Inquisitive nature with an ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts and to prepare and present concise oral and written reports.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with individuals at all levels of seniority.
Ability to independently deliver accurate and concise work to tight deadlines.
Ability to establish, maintain and manage effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the business, whilst continuing to maintain independence and objectivity.
Ambitious, self-motivated with an ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
The successful applicant will be:
Degree qualified and preferably part-qualified or studying towards a recognised relevant professional qualification e.g. CCAB, PIIA, MIIA. Ideally with some internal audit experience from within financial services but external auditors will also be considered and internal auditors without FS experience if they possess the required soft skills.
