This Group Internal Auditor position sits within a London based FTSE 250 organisation. The business has gone through a substantial period of change in recent years and are now in a position to further expand in the UK and internationally.

The purpose of the role is to give independent formal assurance to the Board and Group Audit Committee that the risks faced by the group are effectively controlled. In doing this, the auditor may identify issues and make recommendations where control should be improved.

The Group Internal Auditor reports directly to the Head of Internal Audit and will be expected to work autonomously in delivering full end-to-end audits with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for carrying our detailed risk assessments, audit delivery, as well as audit reporting. You will also be expected to agree audit findings with Management, as well as holding close out meetings. The Group Internal Auditor will own their own stakeholder relationships and be given a high level of responsibility to ensure assigned audits are delivered on time and to department standards.

The successful candidate for this Group Internal Auditor position will ideally hold a recognised accountancy or internal audit specific qualification (ACA/ACCA/IIA or equivalent) and have previous internal audit experience. You will ideally have proven experience of delivering end-to-end audits, as well as demonstrating the ability to work autonomously. Candidates with an additional European language skill (Spanish, French or German) will be considered favourable.

You must be prepared to travel up to 30% of your time in the UK and internationally. Flexible working and home working is encouraged, and you will be given the opportunity to work remotely when not travelling on audit assignment.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and changing organisation that will enhance your career and internal audit skills. You will gain exposure to the most senior members of the organisation that will aid career development.
