Assistant Audit Manager
The Assistant and Audit Manager position sits within a Top 20 accountancy practice firm focussing solely on delivering external audits.
Based in Bedford, this is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a practice that is growing rapidly. The External Auditor will work directly with the management team to deliver external compliance services to their current client base.
The organisations clients base are owners managed businesses, predominantly in the local area. They cover a range of sectors including; manufacturing and engineering, warehousing and distribution and include groups with revenues up to £250M.
This is a unique opportunity to help facilitate the continued growth of the team, ensuring you have vast exposure and unlimited career growth. The role requires the successful candidate to travel as necessary to client sites within the areas of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.
The successful candidate is required to be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with two years’ previous practice experience. It is imperative that you are flexible and have a genuine enthusiasm for joining a recently established, but fast growing team. Having an understanding of IT packages such as; –Excel, Word, Sage, Alpha Tax, Caseware, VPM/Central as well as, having previous supervisory experience with the ability to manage and delegate effectively.
