A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Audit Assistant Manager to join this leading international firm in their Public Sector division in their Ipswich office.

The opportunity will allow an Audit Assistant Manager to take on responsibility for running audits on site, liaising between the audit engagement team, and the client to ensure the assignments are delivered to a high quality and within agreed timescales. The client base will focus on the Public Sector.

In order to be considered you should be ACA/CA, or equivalent; have experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff on site; have experience managing projects; possess working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements; have experience of systems/controls testing as well as substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts and disclosures; have strong relevant Public Sector experience; have strong interpersonal skills; and be able to demonstrate knowledge of current economic and market trends.
