A global banking group who have a strong presence are looking to grow and develop their insurance audit team. This team was established a couple of years ago and this an excellent opportunity to run the department. Due to the diverse nature of the team this hire will require someone to have a background within the Actuary and life insurance arena as well as extensive internal audit experience. In return for bringing your expertise into the function you will be able to diversify your skills base across the other business streams, as the team work closely with the retail and wealth teams.

Working closely with the global head of insurance internal audit you will assist in the further development of the team’s audit plan, approach to building relations with the business, enhancing the team’s capabilities through internal and external training courses whilst further developing your own career as a head of department within this function. The plan for this team is to develop into a larger function in the coming months and due to the size of the team this will be a hands on role.
