Our client a leading global risk advisory practice, forensic technology team specialises in providing technology skills to collect, process and analyse all manner of e-data storage devices. Their specialist professionals work with clients to identify and secure electronic evidence using forensically-sound methods and following best practices. They regularly work with clients on financial investigations, general commercial litigation, intellectual property disputes and corruption investigations.

We have been asked to help recruit ambitious forensic technology specialists to join the team at Managerial level.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight, guidance and direction on multiple concurrent and complex projects across eDiscovery and Forensic Services disciplines
  • Oversee and be involved in all aspects of the EDRM lifecycle, from data collection, preparation, risk and project management and client relationships
  • Actively make recommendations to clients throughout the EDRM process to create efficiencies and cost savings for the life of the case
  • Advise and create efficient workflow methodologies based on case requirements
  • Actively take part in business development and marketing such as preparing and attending client proposals as well as presentations to groups from different backgrounds and business levels
  • Create, maintain and oversee a high-standard of documentation and quality control processes for each case
  • Assist in the development of pitches and proposals and managing the budgets on each engagement
  • Develop and build strong relationships with clients and senior members of the team
  • Provide high quality advice, training and technical assistance to both internal and external clients, often explaining technical concepts to non-technical people
  • Research and development of new eDiscovery and Forensic Technology methodologies and approaches to address client/market needs
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with external service providers
  • Act as a mentor to junior team members

Requirements include

  • Degree qualification (or equivalent) in technical based subject (e.g., computer science, information technology)
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ years of relevant Digital and eDiscovery experience.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to come up with creative, efficient and timely solutions to complex problems
  • Experience in leading and managing both large and small client-facing engagements
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience in an eDiscovery/Forensic environment
  • Ability to lead, research, analyse, interpret and communicate effectively
  • Ability to articulate complex information clearly, in non-technical language, both written and orally
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision, but integrate with a team
  • Efficient and effective time management and organisation skills
  • Essential MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of Windows environments including Server and Exchange
  • Detailed understanding of SQL/my SQL databases
  • Good understanding of forensic procedures and best practices
  • Knowledge of forensic data capture applications such as FTK, EnCase, Cellebrite
  • Understanding of LINUX operating systems
