Senior Internal Auditor
This Senior Internal Auditor position sits within an established but developing team of an international charity. The organisation is based in London but operates in over 110 countries.
The internal audit team is changing and developing and has recently appointed a new Director of Audit who has moved from a FTSE listed organisation. The department is focussed on becoming more risk based and business partners to the wider organisation.
Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, this Senior Internal Auditor role will support the hands-on delivery of the audit plan. This includes leading and conducting wide ranging audits across the organisation. The Senior Internal Auditor is expected to plan, deliver and report on assigned audits, whilst building positive relationships with the business. The audit plan is varied and includes core business process reviews, as well as full country audits. As the function continues to develop, you can expect to have input to the development of the audit plan and provide assurance to the many projects that are ongoing in the organisation.
The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) and have previous internal audit and risk management experience gained within an international environment. Candidates currently working within a commercial organisation are highly desired as is experience of project and programme assurance. Travel in this role is in the region of 40%, largely across Europe.
