The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) have been briefed to recruit a Senior Manager for the insurance division of a Top 10 practice firm. Reporting at Partner level, you will be ensuring the successful implementation of audit plans within the insurance sector and play a key role in the continued growth of the business.

Being a part of the senior management team, you will inherit an envious portfolio consisting of multiple Tier 1 clients and be at the forefront of developing this further. You will be expected to manage all aspects of your client portfolio and enhance relationships. As part of the role you will also be tasked with deploying staff on assignments and be responsible for the drive and effectiveness of the audit process throughout the team.

The firm promote a positive working environment, and this role could be ideal if you are looking to step away from one of the Big 4, or are looking to return to practice following a move into industry. This role will have a minimum of 6 direct reports, so prior managerial experience is preferred.

To be successful you are likely to be an ambitious individual as this team has realistic growth plans set in place and are looking for someone who is capable of further promotion. To be considered you will be a chartered accountant (ACA/ACCA) and have experience of and a deep understanding of the nuances of the insurance sector. You will also have a thorough understanding of international auditing standards and their application to the audits of both medium and large audit engagements.
