Sox Internal Auditor
Our client is a high growth US owned speciality insurance group of companies with a diverse portfolio of business in the UK and Western Europe. The company is currently expanding the Internal Audit team and building a Sox team to implement a compliance framework to future proof the business.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding Sox audit team and make a real difference to a fast-growing business through the performance of high quality, risk-focused, and professional audit and Sox activity. The successful candidates will be responsible for completing testing on allocated in-scope processes across the business with support from an in-house team and the Big 4 co-source partner and controls improvement consultation.
Applicants must combine technical ability with a dynamic, agile nature, a strong quality focus and excellent interpersonal skills. Individuals will be expected to plan and execute audits/testing independently so candidates should have previous experience with Sox compliance. Sector experience gained in an insurance or related FS sector will be preferred however, candidates with strong Sox compliance experience from other industries will be considered if they can demonstrate the prerequisite “soft” skills. This role will require up to 25% travel to regional and international offices.
