Audit Assistant Manager

Your responsibilities will include:

• Work with our expansive and varied client base, including a number of large corporate clients and groups with turnover up to £500m
• Play a key role in audit engagements, from planning through to completion, including involvement in the preparation and review of group and single entity financial statements
• Manage a seed portfolio of clients where you will be responsible for the entirety of the process, reporting directly to the Partner
• Supervise, coach and develop the audit team
• Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, being a key client contact
• Work alongside the Partners and Managers to deliver advisory work including, preparation of financial forecast models, business plans, reporting on internal controls, financial due diligence and other ad hoc projects

The successful candidate will

• Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
• Have experience of leading audits from planning to completion for small and medium sized enterprises under FRS102. Exposure to Large consolidated group structures a bonus!
• Demonstrate the ability to lead a team during an audit
• Excellent client ability to build relationships with clients based on trust a quality of work and advice.
