Position Description Market and credit risk manager primarily for Retail business, and also support for Securities business. Position Responsabilities: Manage and complete the day-to-day Retail market and credit risk policy and procedures. Monitor and manage client risk and positions for the Retail and Securities businesses and ensure any breaches and client related trading issues are dealt with on a timely basis. Monitor intraday price movements and keep abreast of market developments which could impact the company and/or clients. Ensure suitable margin levels and other risk parameters have been set appropriately across the Retail Division and relevant platforms, and reviewed periodically. Produce and monitor daily/regular market and credit risk reports, KPIs, and KRIs, and regularly review to monitor their compliance with various limits and policy guidelines. Manage the Retail Division’s global debt book, negotiating with clients, and liaising with external solicitors where necessary. Maintain relationships with internal relationship management teams to provide sound reasoning for decisions supported by data and analysis. Stress testing exposures and providing management guidance to manage market and credit risk. Approve cash movements and position transfers. Ad hoc duties as required. Qualifications Knowledge and experience: 5 years experience in a Market/Credit Risk role at a Retail brokerage or similar Strong understanding of Retail brokerage business and products such as spot FX, CFDs, spread-bets Understanding of FX, Equities, and Commodities markets Understanding of basic statistical measurements relevant to financial data and markets Working knowledge of SQL desirable Proficient with MS Excel Effective planning, organisational and time management skills, but with ability to change direction as team/management priorities evolve Perform under pressure in a dynamic environment, with the ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously, and prioritise effectively Good numerical and analytical skills Able to work as part of a team and individually, with the ability to be self-motivated Relationship building and communications skills Ability to analyse problems and deliver effective solutions Strong work ethic and attention to detail
