Do you have a strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies? If so, we want to hear from you We're looking for a Commercial Data Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in maximising the commercial value derived from our extensive data. Main Responsibilities Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions. Use statistical techniques to interpret data and produce actionable recommendations. Effectively communicate data insights to stakeholders across the organisation. Reporting and Visualisation: Develop, maintain, and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards to stakeholders across the business. Present findings in a clear and concise manner using data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc). Commercial Strategy Support: Collaborate with commercial teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support for strategic initiatives. Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats. Develop predictive models to simulate future scenarios and support strategic decision-making. Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate product performance and customer behaviour. Provide insights to optimise pricing, sales, and marketing strategies. Compare product and commercial performance against broader market trends to identify areas for improvement. Utilise internal data and external macro automotive and economic data to create detailed reports and provide insights on commercial activity and product performance. Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data governance practices. Work closely with IT and Data Engineering teams to enhance data collection and storage processes. Ensure independence in data analysis by sourcing and integrating data from multiple sources. Professionalism and Teamwork: Always behave in a professional and respectful manner toward clients, third parties, colleagues, and others. Model behaviours that align with our company values and Culture Statement. Be a productive member of the team, working with colleagues to achieve team and business objectives. Take ownership of your continuous professional development, identifying areas for growth and research courses and programmes to develop your skills. Any other reasonable duties as required by your line manager. Essential Skills Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualisation tools (, Tableau, Power BI) and experience in building insightful dashboards and drill-down reports. Strong analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets. Strong background in quantitative analysis, data modelling, and statistics. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
