Think Global Recruitment have partnered exclusively with a boutique firm looking for an experienced Insolvency Director to join a forward-thinking team in the Channel Islands. This is a unique opportunity to lead high-profile insolvency cases, work with a diverse portfolio of clients, and drive the growth of our insolvency practice in a thriving offshore market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working and overseeing the most unique and interesting complex insolvency cases.
  • Involved in strategic direction for The Channel Islands business and marketing for the wider business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, creditors, and legal representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the insolvency practice.
  • Provide expert advice on insolvency law and regulations in Guernsey, the broader Channel Islands and other offshore jurisdictions.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in insolvency preferably in an offshore environment.
  • Extensive experience in insolvency and restructuring, preferably within an offshore jurisdiction.
  • Proven track record of managing complex cases and leading a team.
  • Strong knowledge of insolvency laws and regulations in the Channel Islands.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, CA, ACCA, JIEB recognised by ICAEW.
