Working as part of an impressive Technical and Compliance team, the position of Sustainability and Compliance Coordinator will work closely with Fresh Produce Growers and Suppliers to ensure the expected requirements are in place, understood and adhered to. With responsibility for the management of Supplier / Grower technical compliance & sustainability, key areas will include; Approved Supplier Lists Sustainable Farming (LEAF and SIZA) certification Supplier environmental data gathering and analysis Prepare compliance and sustainability KPI reports using Excel and Power BI Build strong relationships and support suppliers with administration and reporting Work closely with the team and Due Diligence colleagues to support on assessments, non-compliance investigation, and traceability. A combined role working across Sustainability and Due Diligence, offers the opportunity to work with a portfolio of international suppliers, positively communicating and building respected relationships. The team is both passionate and dedicated to the specialist product categories that are supplied to retail customers. Requirements; Sustainability knowledge, and Grower / Supplier management experience Worked within a comparable sustainability, environmental, due diligence position in Fresh Produce and / or Food Manufacturing Knowledge of Food Safety, Quality systems and Environmental Management Standards Salary: £30-32k Location: West Midlands Hours: Monday - Friday Hybrid options Dependent on experience offered Key words: Technical Compliance Assistant, Sustainability Assistant, Technical Compliance Administrator, Supplier Coordinator, Due Diligence, Grower, FMCG, Food, Fresh Produce
