We’re looking for an experienced and motivated individual with a passion for a more socially and environmentally sustainable future to join our team to develop and drive ESG ambitions and deliver positive and impactful change. Responsibilities Develop, implement and drive North’s ESG strategy and ambitions Work with business stakeholders to integrate and embed ESG practices Capture, analyse and report North’s scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions Manage ESG certifications, accreditations and reports including SECR, CDP, ESOS and EcoVadis Measure and report ESG performance to clients, investors and partners Work with sectors & product teams to develop and embed sustainable approaches and propositions Work with the North leadership team to drive a culture of ESG Deliver training and educational programmes for colleagues and clients Support marketing efforts to promote our ESG commitment & sustainable propositions Develop compelling sustainability and social value proposals for public sector bids Manage the delivery of public sector sustainability and social value plans and initiatives Benchmark North’s ESG performance across competitors and industry best practice Qualifications For development purposes the following knowledge, skills and experience are required. • Degree in Sustainability or equivalent • Experience of working in an ESG or sustainability related role • Passionate about sustainability and delivering positive social impact • Experience of measuring and reporting Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions • Understanding of sustainability data ESG regulations and standards • Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams • Talented at writing compelling and creative content • Effective communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships North rewards employees with a competitive market salary and an excellent benefits package and offers fantastic opportunities for progression throughout the company.
