Total Package: £47,500 (London) £42,500 (East Kilbride)
Contract: Full time. You’ll be required to work in line with our policies on hybrid working (minimum 60% in the office)
Location: London, East Kilbride (moving to central Glasgow in 2025)

Your role with us
We’re currently looking for a Senior Management Information Analyst who will focus on extracting and analysing data in a clear and concise manner, and presenting the results in the format to suit a diverse range of audiences. Leading the timely, accurate and appropriately handled compilation of data in response to internal and external enquiries, you’ll liaise across the FCDO to coordinate data collection and reporting, and manage regular external reporting to the Office for National Statistics, the Cabinet Office and other government departments.
But your work won’t stop here – you’ll lead on the delivery of data elements for Freedom of Information requests and Parliamentary Questions that have HR data dependencies. We’ll also expect you to assess request information requirements, collate relevant data, develop supporting lines, draft replies and obtain the necessary clearances. Leading the development of reports to support the ongoing optimisation of the delivery of core HR management information will be another key task, as will helping to support the maintenance, development and change processes associated with continual improvement to the reports portfolio.

To be a success in this role you’ll be a strong leader with the skills to inspire and motivate your team while helping them develop their management information skills and service offering. We’ll also expect you to possess the ability to lead your team on the data maturity journey towards improvement and increased capability in using data.
With a proactive approach to your work and a focus on the continuous improvement of our service and your own skills, you’ll be resilient, capable of working at pace and ready to manage multiple pieces of work at the same time. You should also have a customer-focused approach, and an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
You must be a British citizen at the time of your application, and you’ll be required to attain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
