The Internal Audit team constructively challenges the organisation to ensure appropriate levels of risk management and controls are in place to prevent financial, operational, and Health & Safety risks from occurring, which may have an adverse impact on the Kingfisher businesses and/or our brand.
The successful candidate will deliver a portfolio of internal audits across the Kingfisher Group in line with the approved audit plan and use knowledge of financial, operational and technology control requirements to agree actions with our Banners to reduce risk and/or improve efficiency and performance.
All members of the Internal Audit team are expected to support the continuous improvement activities and innovative thinking into our Internal Audit processes and methodologies.
What's the job
- Perform risk assessments on key technology and/or technology processes and/or e-commerce related business activities and use this information to guide what to cover in audits, ensuring that major risks are identified, understood and addressed.
- Perform audits and risk-based reviews of the robustness of, technology, and/or ecommerce-related controls to provide assurance that controls are working effectively.
- Use your knowledge of issues and best practices to identify control weaknesses and assess associated risks.
- Prepare and issue reports for distribution to senior management and Board members.
- Establish and maintain a collaborative and consultative relationship with key stakeholders across business and technology leadership teams.
- Support the delivery of the Internal Audit Change Plan and its ongoing continuous improvement strategy
What you'll bring
- Qualified auditor (CMIIA, CPIIA, or technology auditor (CISA, CISM, or similar).
- Knowledge of internal auditing, internal controls, and risk management.
- Good understanding of technology, including ecommerce and digital technologies.
- Confident using and interrogating large data sets and using data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills.
