Senior Risk Analyst

A well-known financial business based in Southampton area offers hybrid working (3 days a week in the office) to an experienced Operational Risk Analyst / Risk Advisory specialist.

Your new role

This is an Operational Risk Management role, NOT a Compliance role!

You will be taking responsibility for day-to-day risk management tasks and positively contributing to the development of the Risk Framework. You will work closely with stakeholders from across the organisation, collaborating and liaising effectively at all levels. You will coordinate and support the annual Enterprise Risk Assessment cycle and monitor changes in the operational environment as well as driving the quarterly reporting process to ensure data is accurate and timely.

You will oversee the analysis and reporting of risk events, recognising any trends and ensuring they are accurately captured, investigated and reported.

What you'll need to succeed

• You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise at all levels within the organisation, making Risk Management subject matter understandable to everyone!
• You will have great Operational Risk Management experience and a strong analytical skill set, with the ability to prioritise and organise your own workload.
• You may come from a Big 4 background (Risk Advisory) or have experience in Operational Risk Management within a financial services organisation already.
• You will have strong computer literacy, including MS packages, and an aptitude for analytics.

• Salary £45-48,000
