What will you be doing?
We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Private Client Tax team in Bristol
This role will provide tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of private clients - individuals, trusts, private companies and family offices.

As A Private client tax manger, your responsibilities will include among others
- Responsible for a portfolio of clients which may including sole traders, partners, HNWIs, non UK domiciliaries, non UK residents, partnerships and trusts
- Identifying possible advisory possibilities and opportunities for the clients and managing these projects
- Liaison with Partners, demonstrating strong management skills, Duties include Appraisals/monitor staff performance, On the job training for junior staff on a one-to-one basis, Dealing with staff questions
- Managing the administration of the portfolio of clients. Ensuring all aspects of compliance, accounts, tax returns and tax computations
- Preparing reports for clients, attending client meetings, and responding to ad-hoc questions and inquiries regarding their personal tax affairs.
- Give exceptional client service and be responsible for maintaining regular contact with client team
Qualifications
Experience and Skills:
- Experience gained within a professional services firm.
- Good knowledge of personal tax compliance and ideally some exposure to planning/advisory work.
- Must be able to plan workload in order to prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines and cope with pressure
- Good written communication skills are necessary to draft correspondence with clients and HMRC to explain technical issues in an easily understandable manner
- Must have good inter-personal skills to be able to liaise with clients and other staff members.
- Customer Focus on Meeting deadlines and responding to client needs.
- Provide link in chain to supervise staff members below and support Directors above.
Education and Qualifications:
- ACA/ CTA or equivalent qualification.
