My client is a top 10 practice firm of audit, tax and consulting services to middle market leaders, globally. As an organisation my client believes in ensuring their employee’s empower clients to move forward with confidence and realise their full potential. My client is currently looking to hire a Manager for the Audit department at the Birmingham office. 

This particular role as an Audit Manager role has come about due to company growth and the ideal candidate is required to have previous experience operating at assistant manager level or already at manager level seeking career progression. This role would oversee the effective management of a substantial portfolio of clients; planning assignments, briefing staff on the clients’ business, ensuring all work carried out is in compliance with government legislation and that client and statutory deadlines are routinely met and exceeded. 

The role requires the successful candidate to travel as necessary to client sites, however this will not be for sustained periods of time. It is likely that you will travel no more than 35-40%, mainly in the UK. The right candidate will also be innovative and creative as an individual who shares passion for audit. 

The ideal candidate must have previous experience gained in a professional services or practice firm in the public sector and will have supervisory or management experience with at least 3 or 4 years’ post qualification experience.
