Do you have what it takes to manage risk all the way from the boardroom to the audit team? Can you drive continuous improvement in an ever changing regulatory environment? And have you got the strategic vision to move beyond the level of prevention to navigate opportunities for innovation and growth?

Then you could fit in perfectly as our new Director of Audit and Regulation.

Priory Group is Europe's leading treatment provider of acute mental health rehabilitation services, specialist education, complex care and neuro-rehabilitation services. You will work closely with the Group Medical Director to ensure that we comply with all regulatory requirements, quality indicators and care standards. This will include leading our inspection function, monitoring QPIs and significant quality data, and using your expertise to identify and ameliorate risks at specific sites across the UK.  In addition to developing and monitoring action plans, for instance, you will make sure that inspections are conducted in an independent and timely way. You will also work with Divisional Directors of Quality to set targets and put robust systems, tools and processes in place.

At a more strategic level, you will use your strong leadership skills to influence and support our wider organisational development – from helping achieve ISO 9001 to improving our learning environment and responding to rapidly evolving regulatory change in the sector. We will also rely on you to champion compliance across the Group and act as an ambassador for compliance and continuous improvement both internally and externally.

This influential role calls for expert specialist knowledge of the regulatory frameworks including the ability to lead inspections and implement quality improvement initiatives in a related business environment. Your sound project management skills must be supported by proven ability to contribute to decision-making at the most senior level. First-class communication and interpersonal skills are, of course, essential – and you will need the credibility and confidence to deliver consistent results in a demanding and often difficult operating environment.
