Senior Audit Consultant - US business based in Hamburg
This Senior Audit Consultant sits in the Global Internal Audit function of this US travel and leisure company.

It’s main EU head office sits in Hamburg, and has a work force made up of dynamic and passionate individuals.
Due to the internal movement of an Audit consultant to the Finance Controlling team, they are now looking to recruit a new member of the Group Internal Audit team.
Reporting directly to an Internal Audit Supervisor, you will be part of an international team that are based from various locations across Europe and the US.
The audits will mainly take place from the Hamburg office, with 2/3 projects per year on an International scale.
They will require you to work 2 days a week in Rostock (North East Germany) for the first 6 months, to get to know the other part of the operational business and meet key stakeholders.
The role is focused on performing financial, operational and IT audits. You will work with the entire business; HR, Sales, Operations etc. Working in small teams, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and reporting on assigned audits under the direction of the Supervisors. The successful candidate can expect to develop a long term career within the business with many previous members of the Internal Audit team having moved into Financial Controller and Operational management positions across the world.
To be considered for this role, you will have 3-6 years’ experience in external audit from within a Big 4 environment. Candidates who have also gained internal audit experience within an international business are highly desirable.
You need an engaging and dynamic personality that shows passion for the travel and leisure sector.
Fluency in English is essential. German language is desirable but not necessarily fluent.
