Senior Internal Auditor - Mixed Client Base - Top 10 Practice
The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are currently working with a leading mid-tier practice firm to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor to join their growing team in Nottingham. This role will see you working with clients across both the private and public sectors.
You will be joining an established team in the Nottingham office, that has a strong track record of developing and promoting from within. Reporting to senior management, you will get the opportunity to work closely with Partners and directors. This will appeal to you if you are looking to work within a supportive team, and to work with a varied client base that could see you auditing charities, local councils and FTSE 250 clients.
This is a largely autonomous role which will suit a confident individual who is comfortable making business decisions, but also possesses the self-awareness to seek guidance from senior management when necessary. Your main responsibilities will be providing value by conducting internal audits, identifying risks and proposing recommendations which are appropriate, practical and cost-effective to your respective clients. You will also be encouraged to gradually take a leading role with supporting and developing junior members of the team.
To be considered for this role you are likely to hold a relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA/MIIA), or be close to completion, and have at least two years’ experience within an internal audit function. This can come from another practice firm, where you feel your progress is limited or from in-house roles from either industry or the public sector and want to develop professionally.
