Cyber Security Analyst

Position Description
Be part of something rewarding and dynamic and join CGI's BAU Cyber Security Teams. CGI is looking to recruit Systems Administers with Cyber Security skills who can take on BAU responsibilities on a large on-going project. You will join one of the fastest growing teams in CGI. Ideally you'll be based in our Leatherhead Office but there is potential to be based from one of our other offices as the workloads increase within the business. You will be joining our UK Cyber team of around 200 specialist security professionals all of whom have an ethos of knowledge sharing so you'll be able to develop your cyber skills with us.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The role is a combination of Systems Administration work and Cyber Security work. There will be a mix of troubleshooting Trend, F5 and DataPower. Other Troubleshooting will include OpenSSL, SSH, and XML Signatures . You will also get a chance to be get involved in Crypto related work including Security Certifications, PKI, Key Management and Vormetric work.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Essential Requirements:
The nature of the role means that you will need to hold or be eligible to hold UK Security clearance at either SC or DV level. You will need to be willing and eligible to achieve higher levels of clearance in the longer term if required.

Ideally you will hold a technical degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths, or extensive demonstrable experience in the fields outlined below.
The ideal will candidate will have a strong Systems Administration background with either solid RHEL or Windows platform experience. RedHat , Active Directory and TCP/IP experience are all important skills to have

Desirable experience for this role would include any Crypto related experience such as Key Management, HSM's, PKI and Vormetric. If you do not have these skills then a desire to learn new Cyber Security skills is essential. This is an opportunity to build upon your well established Systems Administration experience and add Cyber Security Crypto skills

Other desirable skills include Operating systems construction (propriety and non-propriety), mobile and telecoms experience, Internet technologies such as HTML and Flash, Networks, Protocols, SAT communications and radio and Industrial Control systems.

Candidates will need to set themselves apart by exhibiting a passion and motivation to understand and extend boundaries by active exploration and implementation of systems. Strong soft skills such as an ability to draft and present quality documentation in good written English, and the ability to explain findings in terms of technical and business risk are both essential. An ability to persuasively present and justify recommendations to colleagues and clients alike, and an analytical and systematic approach are also essential soft skills to have.
