This Internal Controls Analyst positions sits within the Finance function of a substantial FTSE 100 business. The business has expanded rapidly in recent years and is one of the top performing companies in the FTSE 100.

Reporting to the Internal Controls Manager, the successful candidate will support the development and implementation of a robust financial controls framework, as well as working closely with the business and Internal Audit in implementing any key changes raised. You will be responsible for performing hands-on testing of key processes looking for potential weaknesses, as well as documenting processes, performing walkthroughs and evaluating the design of key controls. The Internal Controls Analyst will also be required to assist the Internal Controls Manager in educating and training process owners, helping them understand how to perform effective testing and efficient ways of working.

To be successful, you will be part qualified in an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and ideally have an audit background from one of the Big 4 accounting practices. You will have a broad understanding of business processes, evaluating risk and designing and implementing controls.
