Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit an Internal Auditor - EMEA
The company: Is one of the leaders in their field and an immediately recognisable brand. The
European business generate revenues in access of £200m. The group employ over 18,000 and have operations in over 120 countries around the world incl the US, China and Japan.
The role: Will be to assist the Risk & Assurance Manager - in the planning, directing, and completion of the internal audit process for the business. Assessing financial and operational controls for all Group companies and reviewing business processes within operating companies. Recommending efficiency and control improvements, monitoring risk management, internal controls, governance and operational effectiveness.
Identify potential areas of control vulnerability and risk; develop/implement corrective measures for resolution of problematic issues.
The candidate: will be graduate level with at least 1-3 years previous audit experience Ideally from a business consultancy background or a corporate environment, the person could be newly qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIA qualification. with excellent interpersonal skills, an enthusiastic, "can do" attitude, willingness to learn and prioritise their workload. Woks well under pressure and quickly understands unfamiliar business environments. Good at building working relationships and comfortable challenging how things are done.
SAP experience useful/some European travel required.
