A Major Big 4 Consulting/Accounting firm in the United States are recruiting for a Senior Associate IT Audit and Compliance professional.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in monitoring and reporting key Policy & Compliance metrics to ensure that program processes are executed correctly and completely, developing trending summaries for these metrics
  • Provide guidance to employees as necessary to ensure the effectiveness or the IT Policy & Compliance program
  • Execute initial intake & triage tasks, directing requests to the correct processing organization, escalating exceptions to management, and reporting key metrics for the program
  • Collaborate with internal Technology service groups to review appropriate control measures, procedures and evidence to ensure continuous compliance with firm IT policies, governmental regulations and customer requirements
  • Monitor and report compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends
  • Report against in progress corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provide management with summary information on the status of the portfolio of corrective action plan

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of experience working in IT security; experience in security engineering, security operations, IT Audit, or incident response activities; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
  • Bachelor¬ís degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with the Sarbanes Oxley Act and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board required, NIST, ISO, HITRUST, AICPA trust principles and other relative IT and Information Security Frameworks
  • Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and team work; ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
