Your new role
This is a senior leadership and integral role to the business. Responsible for all Compliance activities ensuring the business is in line and up to date with FCA guidance in relation to all of it business areas, systems, policies and team compliance training. The role will hold the responsibilities of the CF10 and MLRO/CF11 and Data Protection Officer (DPO). You will be the main compliance resource providing advice and guidance to all areas of the business and board members. Produce annual ‘Compliance Reviews’ and ‘Compliance Plans’, Compile regulatory compliance reports/action plans as a basis for consideration and approval by the Board. Be responsible for the Compliance budget, challenging spending and reducing costs where possible to ensure the business is running as efficiently as possible. To contribute technical advice and knowledge to ad hoc projects. Ensure Process and procedures remain compliant with both FCA and PRA regulations and business strategy.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a commercial Senior Compliance professional, with experience built across the Financial Services sector with exposure to Life Insurance essential to the role Strong practical knowledge and understanding of FCA and PRA compliance along with detailed knowledge of COBS, ICOBS, SYSC, DISP, T&C etc. Ideally you will have held the roles of CF10 and MLRO previously. You must also have working knowledge and experience of, but not limited to; life insurance and ISA products, Data Protection and Anti Money Laundering implementation, advice and monitoring. Financial Promotions, Complaint Handling, Compliance and Risk Registers, Business Continuity Planning. Advanced stakeholder engagement and commercial approach to business partnering
What you'll get in return
