The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) have been engaged by one of the UK’s leading charities to help assist them in recruiting a Risk and Compliance manager. This role will suit an individual who is keen to work with a leading NFP organisation and gain immediate exposure to senior stake holders and management within the business.

This is a newly created role that will initially see you reporting into the Director of Finance and Resources. This is an exciting time to join as there is capacity to grow the team, and as the successful candidate you will be leading this process. From the first day you will be responsible for the development of the risk management strategy and framework across the charity, ensuring that these are in line with best practice in the sector.

You will need to provide expert advice, guidance and support to senior management and aid them in identifying and combating potential risks. As the ideal candidate you will have experience working in complex organisations, and have experience promoting risk and embedding risk awareness into an organisation. Experience of working in a charity is preferred but not essential and you are encouraged to apply if this is an area of interest.

You should be able to confidently and articulately communicate in a clear, concise and jargon free-way to the corporate leadership team. In return the company charity offers a great work/life balance and a future career path into man management. There is the option for working from home or out of their London office, but you will need to be in the Essex office for at least 2 or 3 days a week.
