Facebook is seeking a Manager to join the Internal Audit Technology team to drive MRC accreditation, SOX compliance, and internal audits, with a focus on ads products. We are looking for a highly qualified internal audit professional with strong audit, technical and project management skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • MRC and other industry standards:
    • Translate external audit requirements to what the product teams need to deliver
    • Collaborate with external auditors on execution of accreditation/compliance audits
    • Document technical details and triage evidence requests from auditors and industry regulators to various cross-functional teams
    • Implement structure/governance that optimizes how Facebook executes ads audits and accreditations
    • Work with engineering teams on an ongoing basis as they launch new products to ensure product changes are in line with existing accreditations and audit requirements
    • Administer ongoing control self-assessments as they relate to ads accreditations
  • SOX program:
    • Manage various SOX related projects and own execution and progress reporting. Examples of projects include:
    • Evaluation of SOX readiness for new ads products
    • Assessment of controls impacted by system upgrades or migrations
    • Counsel to engineering teams on maintenance or improvement of existing SOX controls, including a focus on automation and monitoring
    • Support SOX PMO to ensure efficient execution and effective collaboration with external auditors, especially related to ads systems and processes
  • Internal audits:
    • Partner with Finance, Ads Engineering and Product teams to stay up to date on the new product pipeline and provide input on potential controls and process requirements
    • Manage audits and readiness reviews for ads products from audit risk assessment, planning, execution, remediation, and post remediation validation
    • Manage a relationship with co-sourcing partners, providing direction and ensuring accomplishment of audits and projects
    • Integrate with internal financial/operational auditors to ensure alignment on audit work
    • Build subject matter expertise in industry areas and stay up to date on technological developments
    • Promote automation in completion of audit testing and innovate new ways of executing projects to drive continuous improvements in the delivery of internal audits
    • Draft risk-based audit reports and recommendations to improve control processes to executive management that clearly present audit results
    • Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across Facebook with Product, Product Marketing, Finance, Legal, Engineering, Sales, Policy, Growth, and Operations

 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. in business, computer science, management information systems, or related field
  • 6+ years of auditing, software engineering or similar experience, in addition to project/program management experience
  • Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization experience
  • Interpersonal experience, including relationship building and collaboration within a cross-functional team
  • Experience in auditing proprietary in-house built systems, information security, advertising systems and working with internet scale data reporting analysis and/or ads
  • Demonstrated experience of project management practices, tooling, and managing audit projects through their life cycle
  • Analytical experience
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools for analyses of data


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • CISA certification
  • Understanding of advertisement, e-commerce, cloud computing, operating systems, web technologies and enterprise security architecture
  • Superior communication skills
  • Problem solving skills that demonstrate logical thinking to reach a solution
  • Ability to operate in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity and stay on top of business and product changes that could affect compliance requirements.
