Senior Internal Auditor - Mid Tier Firm - Charity focus

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are currently searching for a commercially aware senior internal auditor who has a real passion for the not for profit sector to join a leading risk advisory team in central London. As the successful candidate this opportunity will open the door for you to work alongside instantly recognisable brands in the NFP space.

This firm are continuing to invest in their risk advisory and internal audit functions as they continue to grow their client base. Traditionally working within niche spaces, they now help a range of clients in meeting their governance, risk and control requirements but are still the market leaders in the charity space with an envious portfolio.

Working closely with senior management you will be involved in all aspects of the audit processes, from drafting initial audit reports to ensuring that the full delivery is completed on time and within budget. Prior experience working within this area is preferred but not essential, however you must hold a real interest to want to work with charities. This role will also appeal to candidates who have an interest in more advisory projects, than long term audit plans.

Ideally you will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/IIA) or be close to completion, and would have at least eighteen month’s relevant internal audit experience, gained either within a top 20 practice firm or an in-house function. There will be some international travel with this role, and while it is not a huge percentage and will be a minor percent it is expected when asked.
