IT Auditor - Financial Services

My client are a global financial services corporation with EMEA operations and UK operations located in Bristol and Yorkshire.

Due to a planned expansion, Jefferson Tiley are assisting with the recruitment of an IT Auditor, who can be based from either Bristol or the Yorkshire offices. (Please note that there will be travel to Bristol - up to 15% - if the candidate is based in Yorkshire).

Reporting into the Global Head of IT (based internationally) and with a local reporting line into the Head of UK Internal Audit, this person will be responsible for delivering IT audits across the business.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Deliver high quality, well controlled, independent and objective Audit Execution, supported by comprehensive audit files.
• Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships in order to deliver key recommendations
• Manage compliance with the business' global policies, procedures and policies including the global audit methodology.

This is a role that is broad in it's remit covering applications, infrastructure and cyber. We seek someone who is passionate about adding value to the business and most importantly has exemplarary communication skills.

Financial Services experience will be highly advantageous but we also welcome applications from candidates who have worked for a professional services firm and keen to move into an in house role.

We are also open to applications from IT operational professionals who have had some exposure to risks and controls. For these applicants, the client is willing to sponsor them as they study CISA.
