Senior Internal Auditor

My client is a FMCG business looking to recruit a Spanish speaking senior auditor who is keen to travel to Europe and the Americas 40-50% of the time.

There audit function is moderately sized and hence there will be an expectation to work autonomously and there will be opportunities to work from home as well. The successful candidate will preferably come from a Retail/FMCG background as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• To work closely with the Senior Audit Managers in undertaking audits. 
• To work closely with external partners in the planning and the delivery of internal audit reports.
• Perform audits abroad in the Spanish/US office and back in the UK.
• Relay messages from Spanish co-workers to the rest of your audit colleagues.
• You will need to be able to commit to 50% travel

The successful candidate will have:

• Will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIA qualified.
• A strong background with over 2 years experience in internal audit.
• Big 4 experience is desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously and be able to run projects to a high standard whilst working under pressure.
• Experience in report writing is essential.
• Strong analytical skills are a must.
