Group IT Audit Manager - 60% International travel

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company are working with a Leading British Multinational to help source for a Group IT Audit Manager.

The British company has complex operations around the globe. The Group Internal Audit team have hubs in America, Asia and London. The IT component of this team is mainly focussed in London.

IT are currently undergoing a transformation programme which involves restructuring of the global team as well as the implementation of new systems to strengthen controls and operational efficiency.

The Group It Audit Manager will lead a large component of the IT Audit annual programme. The role reports into the Group head of Internal Audit and has 2 direct reports in London as well as other in-direct reports.

Main Purpose of Role:

To ensure that an efficient, effective and proactive IT audit service is provided on a global basis that delivers relevant and agreed actions and through coaching and supporting management ensures they are implemented as business as usual in line with target completion dates. 

Key Responsibilities:

1.            Working closely with Group IT leaders, key business leaders, and risk and audit teams to ensure a detailed understand of the principle IT Risks across the global businesses.

2.            Developing and agreeing the IT audit plan with group, regional and business unit management in line with the Group Audit strategy. This will primarily be geared towards ensuring that internal controls operate effectively to mitigate IT related business risks.

3.            Conduct end-to-end auditing including: planning, scoping, preparation of work programs, opening meetings, audit fieldwork, closing meetings, and writing up of audit reports for review by the Group Director of Risk and Internal Audit. 

Person specification:

To be able to complete this role successfully the job holder must have and be able to demonstrate:

1. A proactive, flexible and open approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including report writing, and a high level of personal and professional credibility.
2. Maintain CISA or an equivalent IT audit qualification
3. Continued end-to-end IT audit experience
4. This role requires 50-60% International travel
5. Understanding of best practice guidelines, standards and Control Frameworks (e.g.ISO270001, ITIL)
6. Experience of working with a large ERP
