Your new firm
A modern accountancy firm based in Sale, Greater Manchester are looking to appoint a part qualified accountant or newly qualified accountant to join their team as an audit and accounts senior. The firm have been established for over ninety years and currently employ over 50 staff an service a range of SMEs, partnerships, charities and subsidiaries of overseas companies. This position has arisen due to an internal promotion which provides an opportunity for an experienced and driven accountant to join the team.


Your new role
In this role you will work with a broad range of clients and be responsible for preparing financial statements for audit and leading a range of audit assignments. You will report directly into the Senior Manager who is the RI of the firm and with this you will be expected to produce a complete audit file ready for review. The audit assignments you undertake will vary in size and will include charity audits, FCA audits and consolidated audit work. Some of your audit work will require you to undertake audits on your own and in others you will have responsibility for overseeing a full team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients and provides a good level of autonomy. There are long term career prospects through to management for the successful applicant.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint either part qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA) who has previous experience of working on all areas of an audit assignment. You must have recent experience of working within a UK based accountancy firm and have excellent communication skills as you will be client facing.

This firm are offering a competitive salary of up to £38000 plus study support for an experienced audit semi senior / senior. You will also receive 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, free parking on site and excellent support and training.
